Six Pillars of Characters

Indonesian Creative School prioritizes character building as a fundamental aspect of its educational philosophy. Alongside academic excellence, the school emphasizes the cultivation of strong moral character by integrating the Six Pillars of Character and Social Emotional Learning (SEL) principles into its curriculum.

The Six Pillars of Character—trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, and citizenship—serve as the cornerstone for fostering ethical behavior and personal integrity among students. Through various activities and discussions, students are encouraged to embody these pillars in their interactions within and outside the school community.

Additionally, Social Emotional Learning principles equip students with vital life skills like self-awareness, empathy, decision-making, and relationship-building. By developing emotional intelligence, students learn to manage their emotions effectively and understand others’ perspectives, creating a positive learning environment.

By combining the Six Pillars of Character with SEL principles, ICS provides a comprehensive framework for students to develop strong moral character, emotional resilience, and social awareness. Through this holistic approach, students acquire the values and skills necessary to navigate life’s challenges with integrity, compassion, and mindfulness, preparing them to make positive contributions to society.
